Development of education sector is among the top priorities of the government and its infrastructure has seen a massive expansion in the state in recent years, Jammu and Kashmir minister Raman Bhalla said.
"Education is a priority sector for the government and massive expansion in recent years has taken it to the doorsteps of people living in far off areas," Bhalla said here today while addressing a function here.
He said while new schools had been opened by the government, the existing ones were upgraded.
On this occasion, Bhalla appealed to the teachers to ensure quality education for students.
