Efforts are on to make Palghar 'moden' district: Minister

Says govt is making all efforts to bring latest technological facilities in the new district

Maharashtra Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat today said government is making all efforts to bring latest technological facilities in the new district to make it the 'modern district'.

State government has given specific instructions to the Additional collector office at Jawhar to look into initial arrangements required to set various offices in the tribal talukas of the district, Thorat said.

"All the offices across the district will have paper-less working system. Things are in process to set-up offices with modern facilities," he said.

The minister also said that the government has not received any fresh complaint related to the decision of Palghar being made as the district headquarters.
 
"No fresh complaint has come in last one month. Those demanding for Jawar has agreed with the decision and even all services are being rendered from Jawar as well," he added.
