Efforts on to modernise health facilities in Har: Minister

Various health projects, costing Rs 1500 crore, were underway in this regard, he told reporters here.

Rs 109 crore were being spent to upgrade hospitals of Gurgaon, Hisar, Bhiwani, Faridabad, Sonipat and Rohtak to super-speciality hospitals, the Health Minister said.

Construction of a medical college at Karnal costing Rs 250 crore was underway, he said.

The hospital was being constructed to pay tribute to late Indian-American astronaut Kalpana Chawla.
