Egypt pardons 354 prisoners to mark Eid

Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi today pardoned 354 prisoners to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The prison department granted the release of 354 prisoners to mark Eid Al-Fitr and the anniversary of the 1952 revolution, reported the Egyptian Official Newspaper.

The Egyptian government frequently pardons prisoners during national celebrations.
