At least eight bullet riddled bodies of militants, who were killed in aerial strikes by Pakistani military, were found in the country's restive northwest tribal region.

The bodies of the militants killed yesterday, were found in an area bordering Tehseel Bara and Orakzai Agency by the authorities.

The bodies were shifted to Jamrud Levies Centre in Khyber Agency and identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained, Geo news reported today.

Pakistan's security forces have been battling against militants in the country's northwestern tribal area to put an end to terrorism.

The Pakistan military had launched a full scale military offensive "Operation Zarb-e-Azb" in June this year in North Waziristan as part of its campaign against militancy.
