Justice Filomeno Manuel Lopo Sales Rosario Dos Reis, Justice Rajesh Govind Ketkar and Justice Ravi Krishnarao Deshpande, were among those elevated as permanent judges in the same High Court, a Law Ministry statement said here.
Besides, Justice Sanjay Vijaykumar Gangapurwala, Justice Tanaji Vishwas Nalawade, Justice Madatali Noormohammed Gilani, Justice Madan Trymbak Joshi and Justice Madanlal Laxmandas Tahaliyani were also elevated as permanent judges in the high court, the statement said.
Justice Tahaliyani has been elevated with effect from February 26, while the rest have been made permanent judges from the day they assume their new responsibilities, it added.
