The eight-day summer session of the Assam Assembly is set to begin on July 18.
On the first day, the Speaker will read out a report of the Business Advisory Committee, following the Question Hour, an official release said on Wednesday.
Government business, on the opening day, will include scheduled activities, such as laying of ordinances and rules, if any, and presentation of reports on various assembly committees, it said.
Motion for election of members to various government committees and boards, presentation of the list of Supplementary Demand for Grants and Supplementary Appropriation for the year 2019-20 and introduction of government bills are also likely to take place on the first day of the assembly session.
On the second day, the Question Hour will be followed by Private Members' Business, which includes introduction and consideration of bills, resolutions and special motion, if any.
The assembly will be on recess and holiday on July 20 and 21 respectively.

Government business will resume on July 22 when the Question Hour will be followed by voting on Supplementary Demands for Grants and Supplementary Appropriation 2019-20.
Along with that, the Assam Appropriation Bill, 2019 might be introduced, considered and passed at the assembly during the day.
On July 23, apart from the Private Members' Business, deputy speaker of the House might be elected and felicitated, the release said.
On the last two days, government business will continue as usual with consideration and passing of bills, it added.
