Eight fishermen rescued off south Goa coast

The Indian Coast Guard today rescued eight fishermen stuck in the middle of sea after their boat capsized off Mobor in South Goa.

The Coast Guard officials said that they received a message from Coastal Security Police Station in Betul (Madhya Pradesh) informing them about the incident.

The Goa team of the Coast Guard immediately swung into action and airlifted three crew members with a helicopter and landed them ashore, while the remaining five were rescued using water-scooters.
