Eight persons, including three children, were killed in a road accident near Ramgarh village on the Barnala-Moga road in wee hours today, police said.
Besides three children, the other deceased included three men and two women, police said.
The mishap took place after a truck laden with paddy collided head-on with a car, police said.
All the deceased belonged to Zira and Valtoha areas, police said.
The truck driver managed to flee after the mishap, police added.
