Eight newly-elected members of the Maharashtra Legislative Council were sworn in by chairman of upper house Ramraje Nimbalkar at Vidhan Bhawan here today.
Elections to seven vacant Legislative Council seats were held on December 27.
In Nagpur, BJP's Girish Vyas had already been elected unopposed.
