An eight-member Indian team will battle for top honours at the Junior World Wrestling Championship to be held in Recife, Brazil from August 10-15.
Mehar Singh (120kg), who won the first ever medal (silver) for the country in Greco-Roman during the 2013 Junior World Wrestling Championship in Thailand, will spearhead the Indian attack in the upcoming tournament.
The team will also feature Ravinder (60kg), who had won gold at the Junior Asian Wrestling Championship this year.

Out of the total eight members, four wrestlers have won medals at the Junior Asian Wrestling Championship, which was held in Myanmar last month.
The team was recently picked after the trials conducted by the selection committee of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) at the SAI Training Centre in Sonepat.
"Looking at the outstanding performance of our Greco-Roman team in the Junior Asian Wrestling Championship at Myanmar last month makes me feel confident that our wrestlers will definitely make the country proud by winning more medals in this event," Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, President WFI, said.
The camp for the Indian junior men's wrestling team is currently underway at SAI Training Centre, Sonepat. The team will depart for Brazil on August 9.
Team: Inakhumba (50kg), Manish (55 kg), Ravinder (60 kg), Ashok (66kg), Manjeet (74kg), Rahul (84kg), Ravi (84kg) and Mehar Singh (120kg).
