At least eight members of a family, including women and children, were killed when the car in which they were travelling fell into a ravine in northwest Pakistan, police said.
The 12 family members were on their way to Kamila from Seo when their SUV met with the accident in upper Kohistan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
According to police, three injured children were shifted to district hospital Dasu.
Darkness and difficult terrain are hampering rescue operations, police said.
