Eight persons were killed and two others injured when their SUV collided head-on with a container-lorry at Kanadgaon on Manmad-Malegaon road this afternoon, police said.
The victims were proceeding to Shirdi from Dhar in Madhya Pradesh.
The deceased were yet to be identified, police said, adding that the injured were shifted to Rural Hospital at Manmad, 70 km from here.
