Two suspected arms
smugglers were arrested today with eight pistols from a place under Mufassil police station area in Munger district.
Acting on a tip off, the police captured a man, identified as Pappu, from Gaira Pahari locality and seized eight pistols from his possession, Mufassil police station in-charge Abhinav Dube said.
During interrogation, the accused said he got the arms from one Rajesh Kumar, who runs a welding shop, and the police arrested him too, he said.
Both accused persons have been charged under the Arms Act and sent to jail.
