Eight teams, including defending champions Air India, are all set to take part in the 10th Guru Tegh Bahadur hockey tournament here next month.
The teams will be divided into two pools and the top two would progress to the criss-cross semi finals, said Mumbai Hockey Association's president Mangha Singh Bakshi today.
The eight teams taking part in the May 11-18 tournament are: Air India, Indian Oil, Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG, Delhi), Tamil Nadu XI, Army XI, South Central Railway (Secunderabad) and local teams Western Railway, the local league champions, and Indian Navy, Bakshi said.
"This is a prize money tournament and we are finalising the details. The winners of the last edition (2010) pocketed Rs 1.25 lakh," said Bakshi.
