The goods train was stationary on Keonjhar-Bansapani railway siding near Joda, 60 km from here, yesterday when a Manganese loaded tipper dashed against a railway wagon.

The collision was so severe that under its impact the tipper rebounded and on the 'u' turn hit seven other tippers coming from the opposite direction one after another.

All the tippers were badly damaged in the accident and the remnants of the vehicles were seen gathered in heaps.

However, no one was injured in the mishap, sources adding inquiry into the incident was on.
