Ekta Kapoor, one of the producers of controversy-ridden "Udta Punjab", says she is happy that eminent filmmaker Shyam Benegal has heaped praise on the film.
Benegal, who heads the government-appointed censor board revamp committee, has not only called the film extremely well-made but also complimented the makers for showing the prevalent issue in Punjab, that is of substance abuse.
Asked for her reaction to the veteran filmmaker's word of praise, Ekta told PTI, "Shyam sir (Shyam Benegal) (is) a very revered man. I am humbled by his comments regarding the film."
