Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kings XI Punjab and Rising Pune Supergiant to be held at the Holkar Stadium here tomorrow.
More than 1,600 police personnel have been deployed in and around the stadium to ensure smooth conduct of the match, an official said today.
"Effective and elaborate arrangements have been made with the deployment of over 1,600 personnel, including eight IPS officers. There would be three-tier security arrangements," DIG Harinarayanchari Mishra said.

He said 70 CCTV cameras have been installed as part of the arrangements at the stadium, which has a seating capacity of 26,000.
Mishra said the police were also taking steps to check black marketing and forgery of IPL tickets.
During the current edition of the T20 event, Kings XI Punjab have made the Holkar Stadium as their home ground.
The team is playing three matches in the city - agianst Rising Pune Supergiant (April 8), Royal Challengers Bangalore (April 10) and Mumbai Indians (April 20).
