A 65-year old man today allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his rifle in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, police said.
Sohan Singh shot himself with his own rifle at his residence at Chammayra village, a police officer said, adding the police party has reached the spot and seized the rifle.
A suicide note has been recovered from the spot, he said.
The body was also taken into custody for legal formalities, the officer said.
