A 60-year-old man died of heat stroke in Lekhari town here, police said today.
Bholanath Yogi, resident of Vrindavan in Uttar Prasesh, collapsed on the road yesterday and died instantly, SHO Lakheri Police Station Rakesh Meena said. Yogi used to meet his ends by begging in the city, he said.
The post-mortem was conducted today and doctors at the Community Health Centre confirmed heat stroke as the reason of death, he added.
Kota has been reeling under intense heatwave with mercury shooting upto 45.3 degree Celsius yesterday.
