An elderly man, who had to spend a night under tin shade outside a primary health care, died allegedly due to biting cold today.
Medical officer Vikas Indu has stated that the old man's body was noticed by hospital staff and he might have died due to chilling cold, SHO Loni Kotwali Avdhesh Pratap Singh said.
Police is trying to ascertain the identity of the man, he said adding the body has been sent for postmortem.

Meanwhile, in a separate case a20-year-old man was today electrocuted to death after coming in contact with a high tension line while trying to remove a television cable wire from it, police said.
The deceased Shivam was immediately rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, SHO Loni Border Virendra Yadav said.
