The incident took place last night when Ram Jiyawan (75), who used to earn his living by selling sheep, was beaten by Harish Chand Pal and Ramjit Bind after he refused to give them one of his sheep, they said.
Later, the victim died on the spot.
While the duo have been arrested, a case has been lodged in this connection against them, they added.
