A 61-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by seven armed persons at his residence in Loni area, police said today.
Seven persons scaled the wall of Lalaram Khatik's house in Prakash Vihar and opened fire at him when he was fast asleep in his room last night, they said.
Manish and Monu, the two sons of Lalaram, who were in the house at the time of incident, rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
A case has been registered and manhunt launched to arrest people involved in the crime, a senior police official said.
