An 80-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by his son over a property dispute in Pooranpur area here, police said today.
Radheyshyam Agnihotri was shot at by his son Rakesh in Kareemganj locality here yesterday when he refused to transfer property in his name, police said, adding, he died during treatment at hospital.
A case has been registered against the accused who is absconding and efforts are on to nab him, they said.
