A 65-year-old undertrial, lodged in Bundi jail, died today during treatment at a district government hospital here.
The undertrial Bhura Bheel, who had been sick for the past few days, was rushed to the hospital by jail staff last night after his condition deteriorated, police said.
Bheel, a resident of Bheelo Ka Barda area here, was lodged in jail last month under sections 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) of IPC, they said.
A medical board will conduct the post-mortem today, police added.
