One septuagenarian lady was killed and three others were injured when a car hit them inside the parking lot of a shopping mall in the southern parts of the city this afternoon, police said.
Sandhya Sarkar (78), a Regent Park resident succumbed to injuries while three others including the driver of the car were undergoing treatment at a hospital after they were injured in the accident, police said.
The incident happened at around 3.50 PM inside the parking lot of the shopping mall at Gariahat in the Gariahat Police Station limits as the driver of car somehow lost control and knocked down the three by-standers, police said.
