An elderly woman was killed by unidentified robbers in Mauranipur area of Jhansi district, police said here today.
Biland Lalwani (74) was attacked by the robbers when she was alone at her residence late last night, a police spokesman said.
He said the robbers fled with cash and jewellery.
Prima facie it seems Lalwani was killed when she resisted robbery, the spokesman added.
