Elderly woman murdered, legs cut off

An elderly woman was murdered by unidentified criminals who chopped off her legs for her silver anklets last night.

The incident occurred when the woman, Nani Bai (80), was sleeping in her house in Bhainsdakla village in Dabok area alone.

Her family members were working in farm and they found her dead with both the legs chopped off when they returned home, police said today.

The body was handed over to the family members after post-mortem, police said, adding efforts were on to identity the criminals.
