A 76-year-old woman was murdered allegedly by unidentified men who entered her house and looted some cash and gold ornaments, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday afternoon when Rajinder Kaur was alone in her house, they said.
The family's maid servant found the woman's body lying in a pool of blood following which she informed the neighbours. Subsequently, the police was also informed.
A case has been registered and further investigation is on, police said.
