A 68-year-old woman died after a motorcycle on which she was travelling was hit by a truck in Banda district on Tuesday, police said.
Alla Rakkhi fell from the motorcycle and was run over by the truck in Naraini area, an officer said.
The driver of the truck has been detained and the body of the deceased was sent for post-mortem, the officer added.
