A herd of 60 elephants today intruded the Kiranchandra tea estate area in Mal block of Jalpaiguri district today.
The herd, which strayed from adjacent Baikunthupur forest division, included baby jumbos and attracted a large crowd including tourists.
The forest department with help from local volunteers kept watch on the herd movement.
