Eleven persons were killed and 12 others injured when a bus carrying a marriage party collided with a tanker and came in contact with a high tension wire here.
The incident occurred near Bamba crossing last night. Eight persons were killed, four of them on the spot, District Magistrate Nidhi Kesarwani said today.
Of the 12 injured, five were referred to Agra in a serious condition. Three of the injured succumbed later in the night, Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjiv Bajpai said.
The deceased include Wakil (45), Karua (20), Krishna (25), police said, adding they were trying to ascertain the identity of the others.
