Coe passed away during a ski trip with his family in Aspen, Colorado, earlier this week.
Hurley has taken to Twitter to pay her respects to Coe, noting he was a dear friend of her sports star fiance Shane Warne, reported Daily Star online.
"A very sad day. RIP David Coe. A wonderful man and a great friend of Warne. All thoughts to his wife and children," Hurley posted.
Coe, former chairman of the collapsed Allco Finance Group, is survived by his wife Michelle and three sons. He was widely regarded as one of Australia's most generous arts patrons and charity benefactors.
