Singer Ellie Goulding reportedly felt embarrassed on her birthday after a staff member stopped her friend from taking pictures in a club, where it was prohibited.
The 27-year-old 'Burn' hitmaker celebrated her birthday last week at a private members' club in London with a couple of friends, reported Daily Mirror.
Goulding was reportedly embarrassed when a friend was told off by a staff member after he started taking pictures as the club had no-photo policy to protect the privacy of the stars visiting it.
"It was a hairy moment when the staff swooped and Ellie looked really embarrassed as she'd been minding her own business and having a good night," a source said.
"She dealt with the faux pas well and was really polite and sweet with the staff, successfully convincing them it had all been an innocent mistake. But the gang left soon afterwards, at around 10pm, as the scene rather killed the party mood," the source added.
