Emerald Fennell is joining the royal family of "The Crown" as a young Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, in the third season of the hit Netflix series.
The streaming giant made the announcement Tuesday on Twitter, saying the 33-year-old actor will play Camilla Shand (later, Parker Bowles) in the upcoming installment of the show.
Fennell said she was looking forward to be a part of the royal drama.
"I'm absolutely over the moon, and completely terrified, to be joining so many hugely talented people on 'The Crown'.
"I absolutely love Camilla, and am very grateful that my teenage years have well prepared me for playing a chain-smoking serial snogger with a pudding bowl haircut," she said in a statement.
Her previous credits include "Call the Midwife" and "The Danish Girl".
