Indie filmmaker Emily Carmichael will reportedly helm superhero project "Captain Marvel".
The rumour surfaced after Carmichael revealed about going to a meeting with Disney for an undisclosed project, reported Aceshowbiz.
The director shared a picture of her wearing reddish glasses. The initial caption was "on my way to a Disney meeting" before it was edited into "I look a way."
Nicole Perlman, who writes "Captain Marvel" script, added fuel to the rumour by following the helmer on Twitter.
"Captain Marvel" was originally planned for July 2018 before it was moved to November the same year and eventually pushed back again to March 8, 2019.
