Eminent Aussie academician to deliver JRD Tata Oration meet by

Professor of Law, Australian Catholic University, Fr Frank Brennan will deliver the 25th JRD Tata Oration on Business Ethics, to be organized by XLRI-Xavier School of Management, on 26th November here.

Brennan would talk on the topic "The Placement of International Law in seeking Sustainable Development for India: Some Ethical Reflections", according to a XLRI press release here today.

The session is to be attended by T. V. Narendran, Chairman, Board of Governors, XLRI & MD, Tata Steel Limited, Fr. E Abraham, Director, XLRI,, Dr. Ashis K. Pani, Dean (Academics), XLRI) and Fr. Oswald Mascarenhas, JRD Tata Chair Professor of Business Ethics at XLRI..
 

Abraham said "We believe that no management education curriculum is really complete, unless and until the students are instilled with a set of abiding values - that are indispensable ingredients for any aspiring business leader in today's world."

XLRI is the first B-school in the country to introduce a core course on 'Managerial Ethics' for both its HRM and BM programmes.
