A Kuala Lumpur-bound flight, which made an emergency landing in Kolkata on June 9 because of a technical snag did not belong to the Emirates, a spokesman of the airlines said today.
The Emirates was not involved as had appeared in a section of press and the aircraft belonged to another international airline, the spokesman said.
The aircraft with 144 passengers on board made an emergency landing about an hour after take off because of a suspected engine problem, airport sources had said.
