Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the film follows the story of a veteran pot dealer who creates a fake family as part of his plan to move a huge shipment of weed into the US from Mexico, reported Variety magazine.
Actor Will Poulter and Ed Helms have also recently joined the cast. Tucker Tooley, Vincent Newman, and Happy Walters are producing the movie.
Production is set to begin July 23 in North Carolina.
21-year-old "Wild Child" actress will also be seen in "Adult World", "Empire State" and "Celeste and Jesse."
