Emma Stone's voice issues put her off theatre

The 23-year-old often struggles to speak due to the ailment, and as a result she is picky about the parts she chooses, reported Daily Star.

"I would love to do stage. I grew up doing plays and musicals and sketch comedy on stage. But then I have callouses on my vocal cords, which is why I sound like this (hoarse), so I lose my voice all the time. If I'm able to rectify that in any way, then I'll definitely get back on stage," she said.
