Actress Emma Thompson has revealed that she almost walked off a movie after a producer told one of her co-stars to lose weight.
The 57-year-old British actress, who can currently be heard voicing Mrs Potts in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast", was appearing on Swedish talk show Skavlan when a fellow guest brought up the pressure to be thin in Hollywood.
In response, Emma says how she once witnessed a producer attempting to pressure an actress into losing weight for a role, prompting a fierce response on her co-star's behalf, reported Digital Spy.

"I said to them, 'If you speak to her about this again, on any level, I will leave this picture. You are never to do that.'"
"Brideshead Revisited" was released in 2008 and also starred Hayley Atwell, Felicity Jones, Ben Whishaw and Matthew Goode.
Emma also commented on the Hollywood weight issue more generally, saying that - if anything - it's "getting worse."
"It's evil what's happening and what's going on there, and it's getting worse. The French fashion industry said they would get rid of size zero and then, you know, they didn't. The anorexia... There's so many kids, girls and boys now, and actresses who are very, very thin into their 30s, who simply don't eat. They don't eat.
"Sometimes there are just some subjects that you absolutely have to make noise about because it's so tedious and it's gone on and on.
