Entertainment company drama "Empire" is the most-tweeted about series episode and horror show "The Walking Dead" is the top series premiere of the season on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
According to the list released by Twitter and Nielsen, the two hit series are among the most-tweeted TV shows from September 1, 2014 through May 24, 2015, reported Aceshowbiz.
"Empire" ranks first in terms of weekly tweets with an average of 627,000 tweets per episode.

"The Walking Dead" is the top premiere with an audience of 7.4 million and 1.3 million tweets. The AMC hit zombie series also tops other TV shows with an average of 4,305,000 audience in the list of top 10 entertainment shows on Twitter ranked by the number of unique audience.
"The Bachelor" comes in the second place with 3,593,000 audience and 156,000 tweets per episode, followed by "Game of Thrones" with 2,886,000 audience and an average of 107,000 tweets.
"American Horror Story: Freak Show" and "Empire" round up the top 5.
The Super Bowl, unsurprisingly, is the biggest television event of the year on the social media with 25.1 million tweets and 16.1 million audience.
The Grammy Awards comes second with 13.3 million people viewing 13.4 million tweets, beating the Oscars (13 million audience), the Golden Globes (10.4 million), the American Music Awards (10.3 million) and the Billboard Music Awards (9.8 million).
