Employees of the University of Rajasthan here will work tomorrow, a Sunday, as a mark of respect to late former President A P J Abdul Kalam, who passed away on July 27.
"There will no holiday on Sunday tomorrow and all the administrative and academic works will take place as usual, as a mark of respect to the former President Abdul Kalam," a University official said.
Admission process will also go on routinely, the official said adding the decision was taken to fulfil the message of the "people's President", who had said that holiday should not be declared on his death but to work an extra day instead.
