RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav Friday said issues like employment and farmers distress should be the main issues in the coming Lok Sabha election instead of "divisive" issues.
Addressing a public meeting, the former Bihar deputy chief minister alleged that the BJP was spreading venom in the society, raking up issues like mandir-masjid.
"Remain vigilant against such people, who are spreading poison in the society," the RJD leader said and urged the people to ask questions like "where are the jobs?"
He claimed farmers and tribals were in distress.
Yadav said he has stopped watching television channels and reading newspapers as "some media houses are not showing anything other than Narendra Modi" and not touching the issues of employment, youth, education, farmers, health, Constitution and unity of the country.
"I have stopped watching newspapers and television. Till elections praises of such people will go on," he said and appealed to the people to vote for the RJD candidate.
