Industry body Ficci today said it is "encouraging" its member companies to take part in the events being organised by the Centre or state governments as part of the International Yoga Day celebration on June 21.
"We are encouraging our members to either join the events organised by the Central or respective state governments or alternatively organise their own events on the same lines.
"In addition, we are seeking support of reputed Yoga institutions/schools to provide specialised yoga sessions/lectures on stress management, posture related problem management, Pranayam for healthy life style, preventive measures for various life style diseases and much more," Ficci Secretary General A Didar Singh said.
International Yoga Day will be held on June 21 across the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to attend the event in Chandigarh.
