The Crime Branch of Odisha Police today arrested a young engineer on charge of posting of photograph and vulgar comments containing sexually explicit act on the facebook of a woman, the police said.
Sushant Kumar Mishra of Cuttack, was arrested based on technical and other evidences, a crime branch official said adding that the accused had become acquainted with the women through online chat.
Later, the official said, he allegedly uploaded her photographs and with vulgar comments containing sexually explicit act in her facebook and sent them in mobile phones.
A case has been registered against Mishra under different sections of IPC and IT Act, 2008, he said.
The woman had yesterday lodged a complaint at the cyber police station under Crime Branch which arrested Mishra today, police said.
