A tripartite agreement was also signed between Punjab, successor companies of PSEB and PSEB Engineers' Association in this regard.
However, now in violation of the tripartite agreement, Punjab government has decided to form a new company for power trading, Sood alleged.
Officials of PSPCL are currently performing the job of procuring power from various sources and making banking arrangement for sale and purchase of power, he said.
