South actress Priya Anand, who was seen in Sridevi's comeback superhit film 'English Vinglish', says that the film brought her lot of respect and credibility from the industry.
Priya Anand played the role of Radha, the spunky niece of Sridevi's character in 'English Vinglish'.
"'English Vinglish' gave me lot of respect and credibility as an actor. People take me more seriously now. It gave me more confidence," Priya told PTI.

"It's a high," says Priya, "to be noticed in such a role with someone as huge as Sridevi."
The actress said that getting noticed alongside Srideviji in itself was a big thing for her. "I did not imagine this kind of response from everyone. It was a dream to work with her," she said.
Priya, who is a popular name in Tamil and Telugu film industry, has been signed by Excel Entertainment for a role in the new youth-centric film-- 'Fukrey'. The film is directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment.
Set against the backdrop of college, the movie is about bonding between friends and has an ensemble cast. Pulkit Samrat (of 'Bittoo Boss' fame), Manjot Singh of 'Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye' fame, Ali Fazal of '3 Idiots' fame, Richa Chadda and others.
The film is slated to release on June 14.
