Entertainment Network India Ltd (ENIL), which operates private FM Channel Radio Mirchi, today reported a 24.34 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 6.09 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 8.05 crore in the July-September quarter a year ago, ENIL said in a BSE filing.
ENIL's total revenue during the quarter under review stood at Rs 125.73 crore, down 3.01 per cent, as against Rs 129.64 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

"It's been a tough quarter with GST related disruptions affecting all media businesses. July and August were severely affected. September saw a smart, albeit temporary, recovery on the back of an early festive season," ENIL MD & CEO Prashant Panday said.
Total expenses were down 7.20 per cent to Rs 114.46 crore from Rs 123.35 crore in July-September quarter last year.
Shares of ENIL today settled at Rs 801.55 apiece on BSE, down 0.02 per cent from the previous close.
