Tamil Maanila Congress Chief G K Vasan today said Government should respect opposition party members and give adequate time to put forward problems confronting the people, in the state Assembly.
The views of the opposition parties should be heard in the assembly and the session should be extended from the present three days, Vasan told reporters here.
Stating that issues like Cauvery and Mullaperiyar dam should be discussed to find solutions, he said attacks on fishermen by Sri Lankan Navy and problems being faced by the farmers should be given importance during the session.
He also accused some BJP leaders of stooping to low level while criticising leaders of other parties, which, he described as uncivilized and indecent.
